Eligibility to Access SSRC Services
To be eligible for Specialised Substitute Residential Care (SSRC), you generally must:

Be a child or young person requiring out-of-home care

Need intensive 24/7 support in a structured residential setting

Have complex emotional, behavioural, developmental, or mental health needs

Be referred through the relevant child protection authority or authorised agency

Have approved funding under the applicable SSRC program

Require therapeutic and trauma-informed support services
